Support Eligibility Criteria

Our aim as a charity is to make mental health support accessible to as many people as possible. We offer our services free to young people and people disadvantaged by low-income. We also provide help to people in employment by heavily subsidising their support services, from the charity’s resources.

Free Services

Our online stress and well-being test is free to every client, and a confidential way to find out about your stress and where you are at this juncture in your life. This is a simple yes/no questionnaire that will help to indicate if you are suffering from stress, anxiety, depression or mental burnout.

All clients requesting the free appointment complete the online questionnaire that must be completed before we make your appointment.

NHS employees are eligible to receive all our courses free. Volunteers working in Wales with charities are eligible to receive all our courses for free.

Paid For Services

If you are in employment our services are still made accessible to you by being heavily subsidised compared to private consultation rates.

Private individuals benefit from at least 70% match funding towards any fees they would typically pay for our mental health services.

ISMA Approved Stress Prevention and Well-being Course

The cost of our course is £200. The charity will match-fund 70% of the fee you pay, reducing the cost to £60 for clients who are not eligible to receive free support.

With the discounted fees paid, we reinvest 100% to help and support, vulnerable individuals and families affected by mental health issues.

Reasons for Fee Charging

Triangle Mental Health Foundation is a Registered Charity (CIO) Number: 1177171 as a Charity we receive no Government funding to deliver our courses or support services. Therefore, sometimes we need to charge a small fee. For example, each session for professional advice and support costs the charity £80.00. Mental health and Well-being courses costs £200 per person.

With the discounted fees clients pay, we reinvest 100% of the fees we charge to help, and support, vulnerable individuals and families affected by mental health issues in Wales. These are people whom our already stretched NHS is struggling to help, that is why your support allows us to provide mental health services to help clients experiencing stress, anxiety, depression and burnout.
