Who We Are
Triangle Foundation is the brainchild of David Briscombe, who formed a charity to provide vulnerable people with mental health, together with Trustees John Ward and David’s fellow health professionals Dr Beverley Steffert PhD and Dr Tony Steffert PhD.
Triangle Foundation was founded 2016 under the ethos that everyone deserves access to mental health support. Established by a team of mental health specialists, the Foundation became a registered charity in 2018.
As a result of the pressures on peoples’ lives of the COVID pandemic, the charity expanded its remit and today provides free and subsidised mental health support throughout society.
Having outgrown its original definition, the charity decided to change its identity to better reflect its work and on 6th December 2022, the Triangle Foundation was born.
Our Work
We support people in all sections of society, from employers and their staff, public sector organisations, to the unemployed and most vulnerable in society.
We fundraise and seek corporate support and public funding in order to deliver our support including one-to-one mentoring, counselling and courses, to the neediest in society.
Triangle Foundation support includes self-care, well-being and resilience planning, mentoring, counselling, and a range of self-help training programmes. We provide new skills and the resilience to equip our clients with scientifically proven coping mechanisms for mental health issues, stress, anxiety, depression and burnout.
