New Live Streaming and Recording Studio in Cardiff Bay

Triangle Foundation is the first charity in the UK to be officially recognised by the International Stress Management Association for our high standard of Stress Management Well-begin and Resilience Course.

Triangle Foundation will begin producing and recording its own live online mental health training courses and seminars at its new streaming and recording studio in Cardiff Bay.

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, our in-house course has been temporally suspended and replaced with an online version of our residential course and will continue until social distancing returns to normal.

Using new technology, we are running live, fully interactive sessions with our tutor based in our Cardiff TV studio and broadcast to participants taking part online from the comfort of their homes.

Using automatic motion detection cameras in our studio, the tutor has the freedom to move around the studio as if presenting the programme under normal conditions, rather than being static and tied to a laptop.
The tutor sees delegates not on a PC monitor but giant screens in the studio, enabling him to better interact with participants he sees on a ‘life-size’ basis.

There is always time for participants to ask questions and debate them during the course. Or, If preferred, participants can email their tutor the question to answer privately.

Increased Mentoring Counselling and Support

Like most other charitable organisations, Triangle Foundation uses the services of qualified and student volunteer mentors and counsellors.

As a result of the Coronavirus lockdown and social distancing, we have suspended all face to face mentoring and counselling sessions. Triangle is fortunate to have on the board of trustees qualified mentors; this enables the charity to offer a limited number of online mentoring sessions each week to clients.

However, when the charity’s new infrastructure is completed shortly at our Cardiff offices in the Bay. It will include a new automated telephone system and new laptops for volunteers to use.

The new laptops will allow volunteers to work remotely from home and will have the latest security software so that each volunteer complies with the latest data protection act.

This new service will increase the number of mentoring and sessions we can offer clients from the safety of their own home in these challenging times.
